INGREDIENTS 

  • ½ cup buckwheat groats

  • Filtered water 

  • 1 Pinch grey sea salt 

  • Almond milk 

  • MY TRIBE TYPE Evolve Adaptogenic Latte Blend 

  • Cinnamon 

  • Desiccated coconut 

  • Coconut nectar 

  • Banana 

  • Sliced walnuts 

  • Coconut kefir – or yoghurt 

METHOD 

  1. Cook your buckwheat in enough simmering water with a pinch of salt until tender.

  2. When tender and water evaporated to a porridge consistency, add a splash of almond milk and cook a little more. This gives you an extra creamy texture. 

  3. Add 1 level teaspoon of Evolve Latte blend and stir.

  4. Add a pinch of cinnamon and coconut nectar to desired sweetness (it’s best to taste first.)

  5. Pour the porridge into a bowl and top with sliced banana, walnuts, more cinnamon, coconut kefir if you like tangy, or yoghurt if you like creamy. 

  6. Sprinkle with more coconut nectar if desired. You can also add or replace the Evolve Latte with Love De-stress + Sexiness, or Invincible Awake + In-Charge, or Strong Stamina + Focus.

TIPS

  • My tip is to soak your buckwheat overnight in filtered water and a pinch of grey salt for faster cooking, better nutrition and easier digestion. Rinse the buckwheat before cooking. Use ¾ cup of soaked buckwheat to approximately 1 ½ cups of water to cook. Add a splash more water if required to cook until tender.
