How does vegan collagen food work?
With today’s lifestyle, it is more difficult for plant-based diets to incorporate all the collagen protein building blocks required. Most collagen supplements come from an animal or marine source and we wanted a holistic plant-based alternative that was easy to add to our daily rituals. But, plant-based or otherwise there are certain nutritional building blocks our bodies need for supporting their natural collagen. We have created a blend of adaptogens and antioxidant-rich ingredients to do just this!
Key Building Blocks for Collagen Support: Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Anthocyanin, Copper, Amino Acids (Lysine, Arginine, Proline), Manganese and Zinc.

MY TRIBE TYPE ritual: Add two small level teaspoons (6 grams) to a smoothie with fruit, sweetener and milk of choice.
Flavour profile: Berry like and somewhat herbaceous. Pairs well with berries, banana, ginger, coconut. Protect the goodness: do not heat. Or works well in any smoothie add 2 small level teaspoon. Sweeten to your taste.

If you are not familiar with adaptogens, they are a select category of plants: herbs, berries and mushroom with the unique ability to modulate the stress response. They do this by working along the HPA axis which is the regulator of the body’s stress hormone: cortisol.
